The Council's 2009 Annual Meeting and Conference took place September 9-11 at the Madison Hotel in Washington, DC.
The meeting featured:
- sessions with federal agency representatives
- an update on the HUBZone program
- an overview of recent legal and legislative activities
- a presentation about how to market your HUBZone status and obtain federal contracts
- meetings with Members of Congress
- and an overview of the SBA HUBZone Help Desk.
The event also included a reception on Capitol Hill (sponsored by Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney) and an awards luncheon.
