    On March 26, 2026, the Trump Administration issued a sweeping Executive Order targeting DEI policies, alongside DOJ’s plan to use the False Claims Act (FCA) to challenge such practices. The result: heightened scrutiny, required policy and subcontract changes, and real exposure to penalties—including contract termination.

    Join our webinar to learn what this means for your business and the practical steps you should take now to stay compliant and protect your contracts.

    Learning objectives:

    • understand key requirements and implications of the March 26, 2026 Executive Order on DEI;
    • analyze how the DOJ is using the FCA to target DEI practices;
    • identify immediate compliance risks for prime contractors and subcontractors;
    • learn what policy, subcontract, and operational changes may be required;
    • develop practical strategies to mitigate risk and protect existing federal contracts;
    • understand potential triggers for enforcement actions, including contract terminations for convenience or default; and
    • review appeal rights available to contractors facing termination.

    Description:

    For contractors and subcontractors providing certain services to the federal government, compliance with the Service Contract Act (SCA)—also known as the Service Contract Labor Standards—is required. The unique bidding and performance requirements associated with SCA contracts can create significant challenges, and non-compliance may trigger a Department of Labor investigation. Potential consequences include financial penalties, payment of back wages, withholding of contract funds, and even debarment from future federal contracts.

    To help contractors successfully bid on and comply with SCA contracts, PilieroMazza’s Labor & Employment Group is offering a three-part virtual training series focused on key components of the SCA and practical strategies you can implement within your organization. Participants will gain valuable guidance on compliance, contract performance, and risk mitigation.

    We encourage you to secure your spot early, as space may be limited.

    Important: Registration must be completed and payment received by Monday, April 20. Registrations with outstanding balances after this date will be cancelled.
